With no firmly established time line for future publication, Ted Rafuse is currently working on several book projects.

First of these is tentatively titled Destiny Derailed: A History of Cobourg's Railroads 1833-1893. The manuscript for this volume is largely completed but researching details and images continue.

A second concurrent project is a history of the Port Hope Lindsay & Beaverton Railway (1855-1869) which subsequently became the Midland Railway of Canada (1870-1884). The MRC was absorbed into the Grand Trunk Railway in 1884. The GTR was absorbed by the Canadian National Railways in 1923. The original PHL&B line endured into the diesel era but today is largely abandoned.

The third project under consideration is a history of the Kingston & Pembroke Railway. Some initial research into this topic has occurred but much more material must be considered prior to future publication.

If you feel you can assist the author with text or images in any of the above projects please follow the link to the C&P, the PHL&B or the K&P for further information.
